Nothing says “we’re glad to meet you” like a gift of home baked goods when someone is new on the block. At Symphony Square Senior Living in Bala Cynwyd, the new Executive Director Joseph Horwitz got that special warm-from-the-oven welcome from his residents during a recent baking-day activity. Carrot cake was on the menu and the first piece went to Horwitz, who enjoys every opportunity he gets to experience the special wisdom of seniors.
