Bring your family to a pancake breakfast and support veterans in need at the same time. The Greater Philadelphia Veterans Network has joined forces with the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation to create this special event, from 8am to 11:30am, Saturday, December 29. Homeless veterans will be hired to cook and serve a pancake breakfast at the American Legion Hall, at 80 Windsor Ave, in Narberth. The mission is to help empower our less fortunate veterans and give them the confidence and skills they need to rebuild their lives. Breakfast costs just $10 per person, or $20 for an entire family.
The event is sponsored by the Claymon Family Foundation, with support from American Legion Post 356 and The Veteran Comfort House. The GPVN and MCSF are both 501 (c)(3) non-profits.
