Bryn Mawr Trust City Avenue Branch Planned for Fall

The bank is slated to sit across from the new Corner Bakery in the Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center.

Bryn Mawr Trust is planning to build a bank branch this year in the Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center on City Avenue, a company official told Patch Thursday.

"We hope to open that in the fourth quarter of this year," said Brian Maguire, Bryn Mawr Trust's senior vice president and director of marketing.

Federal Realty, which leases space in the shopping center, has a site plan on its website that shows a 4,000-square-foot space designated for Bryn Mawr Trust. It sits a few hundred yards south on City Avenue from the new three-space retail strip anchored by Corner Bakery, which is slated to open June 6.

The new branch will include drive-up and ATM service, Maguire said. Bryn Mawr Trust has 17 other branches, the next closest in Ardmore.
