Worried calls kept coming in to Ryan Christopher's BYOB: What did the 'For Sale' sign outside mean for the Narberth restaurant?
Lately, a few borough businesses have closed down or announced their impending departures, including Maido! this week.
But the story is different at Ryan Christopher's, owner and manager Kim Seeger was happy to tell Patch on Friday. The proprietors are in the final stages of buying the building they have rented since April 2009.
"We're not going anywhere," said Seeger, who expects the deal to be done by mid-February.
Management is planning to remodel the interior this summer, knocking out the bar in favor of more tables.
Ryan Christopher's BYOB is located at 245 Woodbine Ave.

It is an absolutely great place with good food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. The only problem we have with it is it's so loud that my wife (who has a cochlear implant) cannot hear anything inside. So we can go only when the weather permits outdoor seating. I hope with the renovations that they'll pay some attention to sound baffling and such.

I agree that RC can be noisy at peak hours. My wife and I live 2 blocks away and we have learned to time our RC meals off peak. However, even if we could not do that we would still go. Really good food at really good prices, nice staff, pleasant atmosphere all are compelling. It is so nice to have a place like RC in Narberth.
