Weekly trash and recycling pickup schedules in Lower Merion and Narberth will, as usual, be adjusted during the week of Christmas.

In Lower Merion, where different residents have trash and recycling pickup on different weekdays, both services will adhere to a holiday schedule, with no pickup on Tuesday, Dec. 25.

The township website has information on how to determine your pickup day for trash and for recycling.

In Narberth, the recycling pickup typically done on the fourth Tuesday of each month will happen on Friday, Dec. 28, rather than Tuesday, Dec. 25. The usual weekly trash pickup will still happen that Friday, too.

Christmas tree pickup will begin Wednesday, Jan. 2, in Lower Merion, by the Shade Tree Commission for mulching at the public works complex in Penn Valley. Trees should be free of ornaments.

Trees will be picked up in Narberth from Monday, Jan. 7 to Friday, Jan. 11.
