City Avenue Sunoco Robbed at Gunpoint
No one was injured Sunday, police said.
A Bala Cynwyd Sunoco was robbed at gunpoint about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, according to Lower Merion police.
Two men entered the City Avenue Sunoco and told cashiers to leave the cash drawer open, police said Monday. One of the men was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, and the two stole cash and cigarettes, police said.
One suspect was described as a black man with a slim build, about 5-foot-9, between 30 and 40 years old, wearing sneakers and cargo pants with a baseball cap, police said. The other suspect was described as a black man with a slim build, between 5-foot-10 and 5-foot-11 wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
No one was injured in the robbery, police said.
No further information or photos of the suspects were available as of Monday afternoon.
