DeLissio Comfortably Wins Second Term

Roxborough resident continues to represent the 194th District.

 

With nearly all precincts reporting, State Rep. Pamela DeLissio won victory by a large margin in the 194th District Tuesday night.

DeLissio, the freshman lawmaker representing Roxborough-Manayunk and Bala Cynwyd and Belmont Hills in Lower Merion Township, defeated Republican challenger Linda Wolfe-Bateman, capturing 77.4 percent of the vote.

In Philadelphia, unofficial election returns from 96 percent of precincts showed DeLissio capturing 15,155 to Wolfe-Bateman's 4,190, according to the City Commissioners.

Lower Merion Township produced a much closer tally—with DeLissio up 508-232, according to the Pennsylvania Department of State.
