Narberth's Fourth of July Celebration brought hundreds of people to the Narberth Playground for a morning and afternoon of fun, food, and games.
Among the many activities were the diaper derby in which toddlers race on hands and knees, a baby parade, races for grouped for boys and girls from ages four though 15 and older.
There were also a pie-eating contest and a basketball-shooting contest, pony rides, games, and picnic food to keep the young and old happy throughout the event. It is a story best told through the photo gallery.

We always attend the Narberth Fireworks - our son and grandchildren even come back from Cleveland every year for them. We love the small town atmosphere - even the corny "Narberth" song. My one quibble -- the fireworks go on too long. Even the best fireworks get boring and repetitive after 20 minutes and they went on for nearly 40 minutes this year. Shorter and more intense next year please!!!
