Flurries began about 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Narberth and Bala Cynwyd area as the National Weather Service predicted light snow and wintry mix through late Wednesday night.
By 4 p.m., it had only been fat snowflakes, with no rain, but the roads were just wet, with no trace of snow or slush cover on Montgomery Avenue or City Avenue in Bala Cynwyd.
No more than two inches is expected to accumulate, though it could still be an issue in the evening commute. Lower Merion Township began salting roads in the early afternoon.
