A Taco Bell and Pizza Hut Express is scheduled to open May 10 at City Avenue and Conshohocken State Road in Bala Cynwyd, a representative of the property owners told Patch Thursday.

Samuel Nasuti of Bala Investors said his company will shut down its existing Taco Bell/Pizza Hut Express roughly the same day. It's on the Philadelphia side of City Avenue a quarter-mile to the north of the construction site, where ground broke in mid-December.

Some of the current restaurant's 27 employees will move to the new one, but with the owners planning a staff of 65 there, there will be plenty of hiring before opening day.

"We're projecting a much higher volume due to the superior location, larger size, easier drive-through access and new building," Nasuti said.

The Taco Bell chain introduced breakfast menus at selected stores nationwide Thursday, the Associated Press reported. Said Nasuti: "We expect the new store to carry breakfast in the future."
