Tell Us: Will Jerry Sandusky Get a Fair Trial?

Do you think former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky can get a fair trial in his highly publicized child molestation case?

One of the most high-profile trials of the year is set to begin and Patch wants to know if you think former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky will be treated fairly.

Vote in our poll and tell us in the comments section below.

Prosecutors claim that Sandusky groomed boys he met through The Second Mile, the charity he founded for at-risk youth in 1977, then attacked them, in some cases in his own home or inside university athletic facilities.

Jurors will not be sequestered, meaning they can spend nights and weekends at home. But the judge gave strict orders for them to stay clear of any news reports, as well as social media.

someone should please wipe that stupid smile off his face with a 2x4. Talk about denial. He really thinks he can get out of this. I wonder if he will still have that same stupid grin when they are hauling his old gray butt off to a cell to meet "bubba" his new Roomy !!!!!

re; "NO ACT OF OURS"...Whose Act Was It?

There was a SYSTEM in place that covered it all up for many years. It's not the "Sandusky Scandal". It's the Penn State Failure. ONLY when sentences are handed down to a predatory, pedophile rapist and all perjurors who ENABLED this to go on -FOR MANY YEARS-, will Step 1 occur.

Step 2 = ALL new policy's put in place to insure NOTHING like that _______ ever occurs again, and

Step 3 = Implementing the policy changes- with teeth.

Clearly there were many that enabled this monster and terrorist. Everyone of them that witnessed reported to their superiors and saw no action and did not go directly to the police enabled this very sick individual. They should all serve time.

Investigate Corbett. He looked the other way because he was too busy conducting a political campaign. He too is guilty of enabling this monster and therefore, guilty of serving up fresh victims and allowing the sex abuse to continue on innocent children.

Earnest, I agree totally. Attorney General Linda Kelly nearly broke her arm patting herself and the state on the back for getting Sandusky off the streets. Her post-verdict podium speech was a bore, unnecessary and obviously a valuable campaign ad that money could never buy. She should earn re-election by going after Corbett and nailing him for sweeping the Penn State scandal under the carpet. Now, that would show she has real guts and cares about kids.
