- Parents of next year's Lower Merion and Harriton high school students may attend course-selection meetings this week: 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lower Merion and 7 p.m. Thursday at Harriton.
- Two civic associations meet: Belmont Hills' at 7:30 p.m. Monday and Narberth's at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
- A new Narberth Borough Council member is due to be selected at the council's caucus meeting scheduled for 8 p.m. Wednesday. He or she, chosen from four candidates, would replace Surge Ghosh after his Jan. 2 resignation.
- Westminster Cemetery is asking for a zoning exception to allow the construction of a 1,600-square-foot mausoleum. The township Zoning Hearing Board meets at 7:15 p.m. Thursday.
- All four district varsity basketball teams are in action Tuesday night. Lower Merion boys visit Upper Darby while the girls host Upper Darby, and Harriton's girls will visit Springfield while the boys play Springfield at home.
