It's too early to know what kind of TV ratings the premiere of "Danny's Guitar Shop" pulled for WHYY's YArts channel Wednesday night.
But in downtown Narberth, unsurprisingly, it was an unqualified success.
"I feel like I'm at my own bar mitzvah. I'm blown away," said Danny Gold, star of the show and owner of that shares its (and his) name.
Gold was surrounded by a standing-room-only crowd at a neighboring bar, , where the TVs showed him talking about music, playing music and interviewing musicians of all sorts.
Three episodes of the Bryn Mawr resident's program previously aired on Atlantic City public television, but to run each Wednesday at 10 p.m.
