A look at life sped up.On a recent sweltering day, supporters of the under-construction Cynwyd Heritage Trail came out to clear out a boatload of trailside weeds near the Barmouth Station area, where Levering Mill Road dead-ends and you can peek into West Laurel Hill Cemetery in the other direction. A flipped pickup truck in Conshohocken closed all westbound lanes of the Schuylkill Expressway about 5 p.m. Tuesday. The closure ended at 6:30 p.m., but not until almost 7 p.m. did traffic resume at normal speeds through Lower Merion. This video, shot from the hillside parking lot of La Collina in Belmont Hills (with Manayunk in the background), shows in one minute the final 15 grueling minutes for westbound drivers as their eastbound neighbors fly past.
