Teaching Yoga and Mindfulness to Children
Pre-School – 5th grade
With E-RYT, Gail Silver, E-RYT, Maureen Heil and Anatomy Instructor, Nicole Bindler

Skillfully create an enjoyable and developmentally appropriate thematic yoga class.
During these 36 hours you will acquire a true understanding of yoga and mindfulness as well as an appreciation of the developmental and behavioral needs of pre-school and elementary children so that you are well positioned to share your teachings in a thematic way that is both meaningful to your students and well received by your students. At the conclusion of the training you will know how to skillfully create and teach a thematic class format that is safe, fun and developmentally tailored for specific age groups within the range of ages 3 –10. Additionally, through six hours with Nicole Bindler, you will gain an understanding of developmental anatomy and reflexive movement as it relates to the neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems in children.
