Doctors Express Urgent Care Opening in Narberth

Doctors Express, one of the nation’s largest networks of urgent care facilities, has opened a location at 934 Montgomery Ave. across from Staples and Wawa in Narberth. This is the first urgent care facility to open in the Lower Merion area, and it will begin seeing patients tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

For patients, Doctors Express delivers high quality, convenient care. The center stays open seven days a week (8 a.m. – 8 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. weekends) and no appointments are necessary. More importantly, wait times average 20 minutes—something that certainly can’t be said for emergency rooms or primary care physicians. Along with the reasonable wait times, the center also accepts most forms of medical insurance and even offers affordable cash rates for those who are uninsured.

The facility is very much like a small-scale hospital. Doctors Express Narberth has six exam suites, a dedicated x-ray room, a procedure area to administer more involved treatments such as stitches and an onsite lab.

For non-life threatening conditions Doctors Express offers a suitable alternative to the emergency room. After seeing everything the facility has to offer, it can very much “treat everything from coughs and colds to fractures and sprains”, just like the tagline suggests.
