92-Year-Old Woman Recognized For Longtime Service

Dorothy 'Dot' Foster was recognized for her dedication in volunteer service at New Horizons.

New Horizons recently recognized a long-time volunteer, Dorothy "Dot" Foster. A 30-year member of New Horizons, Foster has lived in Ardmore her entire life.

New Horizons shared the following of Foster's role to the community:

"Dot is a special, gracious and dedicated person and served New Horizons as our volunteer line-dance instructor for over 20 years. Now entering her 92nd year, she still attends the center regularly, and participates as emcee for holiday luncheons—always offering words of wisdom to our guests before we share a meal. We are grateful to Dot for her decades of service to our community! Attached are some photos of Dot in action, filling the center with joy and helping build the sense of community New Horizons is known for!"
