Get Out: Craft Sale, Fair Trade Event, Saturday with Santa and More

St. Asaphs Holiday Craft and Rummage Sale

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Where: St. Asaphs Episcopal Church
  • Why Go: St. Asaphs Episcopal Church is having a Holiday Craft Show & Rummage Sale with local artists featuring their jewelry, wood creations, homemade snacks, ornaments and more.  There will also be gently used items for sale. The money raised will be used to help several local charities. We are also asking for donations for Heifer International. 
  • Cost: Free


"Work of Human Hands" Fair Trade Event

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 2 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Where: Saint Margaret School 229 N Narberth Ave, Narberth
  • Why Go: Shop locally and help globally! Shop from organic, shade-grown, Fair Trade, full pounds of quality coffee, Delicious Teas and rich chocolate from small farms and co-operatives, and enjoy a selection of affordable handcrafts, unique, fair trade, and handmade in villages around the world!
  • Cost: Free

Saturday with Santa

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 - 11 a.m.
  • Where: Narberth Presbyterian Church Gymnasium
  • Why Go: Bring the whole family and spend Saturday morning with Santa at the Narberth Presbyterian Church Gymnasium.  There'll be music, dancing, coloring and stories for the kids, donut holes and fruit to nibble on, and beverages.  All children will have the chance to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what they want for Christmas.  Parents and grandparents are encouraged to bring a camera and take pictures.  All proceeds from this event will benefit local Narberth charities, including the Narberth Library, Eldernet and Narberth Girls Basketball. 
  • Cost: $5 per person or $20 for the entire family

Lower Merion High School’s 8th Annual Maroon Madness

  • When: Friday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Maroon Madness kicks off at 6 p.m. this Friday at Lower Merion High School. The event, benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer, will begin with a tailgate party at the LMHS gym with Principal Sean Hughes working the grill, followed by a candlelight walk at 7 p.m. to benefit Coaches vs. Cancer. Then, the basketball games will begin, featuring an introduction to the boys and girls teams, an intra-squad scrimmage, fan contests, music and raffles, with several surprise guests.
  • Cost: $5 donation

Holiday Fine Craft Sale

  • When: Friday, Nov. 30 - Dec. 9
  • Where: Main Line Arts Center
  • Why Go: Shop from an amazing assortment of one-of-a-kind fine crafts including handmade jewelry, ceramics, glass, wood, fabric and more.  All handcrafted by professional artists from the region. Hours: Monday – Friday: 10 am - 8 pm; Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm; Sunday: 10 am - 4 pm

Santa's Arrival and Tree Lighting Ceremony

  • When: Friday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m.
  • Where: Schauffele Plaza, Downtown Ardmore
  • Why Go: Features Santa's arrival on an Ardmore Fire Truck, tree & menorah lighting ceremony, holiday carols sung by local schoolchildren, cocoa, cookies & special offers from downtown merchants.
  • Cost:  Free
