The Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet Society Treasure Sale

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Where: 29 N Narberth Ave, Narberth
  • Why Go:  An annual fundraising event benefiting the Society's apprentice program and the Art of Ballet Outreach Program. Baked goods and refreshments available while you browse for that rare treasure!
  • Cost:  Free

Fall Narberth Sidewalk Festival

  • When: Thursday, Oct. 11 - Saturday Oct. 13
  • Where: Downtown Narberth
  • Why Go: Local merchants sell outdoors.
  • Cost: Free

One Night Stand Art Exhibition and Cook Out

  • When: Friday, Oct. 12. from 6 - 9 p.m.
  • Where: Main Line Art Center
  • Why Go: Check out up-and-coming talent and take home affordable artwork at this free, one-night-only art sale featuring work by artists ages 21-35.  Groove to the music while browsing through the gallery.  If you are hungry there will be barbecue tickets for sale.  There will also be a free Raku firing demo from 6-8 pm.

Clover Market: Fall Opening

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Where: The parking lot at 12 E. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore 19003 
  • Why Go: Come out and enjoy over 100 vendors with antiques & collectibles, vintage jewelry & clothing, art, fine crafts, handmade items as well as a delicious menu and crafts for the kids.  The food vendors are back outside in the parking lot behind Rittenhouse Electric. 
  • Cost: Free

12th Annual Penn Wynne Library 5K

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 13.  Registration at 8 a.m.  Race at 9 a.m.
  • Where: 130 Overbrook Parkway
  • Why Go: Enjoy a Saturday morning walk and help support the library.  This is an all ages and physical abilities 5K.  Entrants may either walk or run, for either all or part of the course. The first 200 registrants will receive a free t-shirt and all children will get an award. Other activities will be occurring simultaneously in front of the library building and in the church yard next door: arts and crafts, therapeutic massage, face painting, and a moon bounce.
  • Cost: $25 individual, $50 family

10th Annual Softball Benefit & Family Fun Day

  • When:Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Where: South Ardmore Park
  • Why Go: This is an Alex's Lemonade Stand benefit event.  Please come out and support a softball benefit in memory of Theresa Gigliotti and Alex Scott.  The day is going to be filled with family fun including free games for kids, raffles, food, refreshments, tons of kids activities, moonbounce, softball playing, music all day long by DJ Eric Bartello, live entertainment, surprise characters, clowns, face painting starting at 12pm., and  "Dan the Magic Man Lafferty" performing from 11am-2pm.  It will be a great day for a great cause.  The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 14.
  • Cost: Free

Rain Barrel Workshops

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m.
  • Where:  2nd floor board room at Township Building, 75 E Lancaster Ave
  • Why Go:  The Lower Merion Township Environmental Advisory Council will offer a free home rain barrel workshop and compost education program for residents.  
  • Cost: Free
