Snow and Sleet Expected on Saturday

More snow could be on the way Saturday.

The National Weather Service says that there is the potential for hazardous weather Saturday throughout the region.

A storm is expected to roll into the area late Saturday morning,forecasters say, with some areas predicted to see new snow accumulation of one to three inches.

As Saturday progresses, forecasters say that the snow will change to sleet and then rain by 1 a.m. Sunday morning.  

The accumulation totals for Saturday's precipitation are expected to be between a quarter and a half inch.

The weather is expected to clear up and and warm up at the start of next week.
