New Horizons is offering a two-week workshop, for adults 55 and older, on September 17 and 24 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, on creating beaded bracelets. The course will be $5 for Members, $8 for Non-Members, and will be taught by Gloria Davis, who holds a Degree in Fine Arts from Cheyney University. Gloria is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to creativity, and will be leading various arts and craft workshops throughout the year. So come to New Horizons and learn how to make a beautiful and unique piece of jewelry you will treasure forever!
New Horizons Senior Center, located at 206 Price Avenue, has been dedicated for over 30 years to offering fun-loving baby boomers and other active adults a host of educational and enriching experiences. The Center boasts a number of intellectual and creative programs, including Computer Tutorials, Creative Writing Class, and Knitting and Crocheting instruction.
