This season the glee club will present “Broadway Lights ~ Cabaret Nights”, a concert featuring showstoppers from the ‘Golden Age’ of Broadway. Selections from Kiss Me Kate, My Fair Lady, Hello, Dolly! and others are sure to tickle the musical memories of audiences of a certain age.  Also, from the Cotton Club and the Tin Angel to the Stork Club and the Village Vanguard, the glee club re-imagines the glamour of New York City nightlife in the 1940’s with legendary cabaret entertainers performing popular songs.  Tributes to Marlene Dietrich, Barbra Streisand, Vic Damone among others are featured.

The all-volunteer ensemble, ranging in age from 65 to 91 years young, is scheduled for several fall performances including McCauley Convent on October 18th at 2:00pm, St. Joseph’s Community Infirmary on October 25th, Riddle Village on November 9th at 2:00pm and the Veteran's Medical Center in Coatesville on November 11th at 2:00pm.  The concerts are free and open to the public.
