A Double Dose of MLRT

Two events I have trouble tying together taking place at Main Line Reform Temple this weekend.

Can't wait for Memorial Day?

Then don't, and start summerizing this weekend with Main Line Reform Temple's Sha-bar-B-Que family service. The festivities start this Friday at 6:30 p.m. Come prepared to pray, reflect, and stuff your face. For members, tickets cost $15 (adults)/$7 (kids)...$18/$8 for non-members. RSVP with Erica Capello at ecapello@mlrt.org or 610-642-0304.

If that doesn't tickle you then MLRT offers a second weekend alternative; one so drastically different I can't conjure a concisely written transition sentence between the two. So we swing from charred meat consumption to holistic body healing with two nights of meditative chanting alongside MLRT Rabbi Ethan Franzel. The first session takes place Friday night at MLRT (6:30 start) and the second at Jai Yoga in Haverford(8 pm start). A small, robotic internet birdie told me they'll be musical accompaniment . Cost: $18.

Two great options, one great temple. Enjoy!
