Honeygrow Restaurant Opens on City Avenue

The business now has a Bala Cynwyd location and a Center City location.

The Center City Philadelphia restaurant Honeygrow opened a Bala Cynwyd location on Thursday, serving what a manager called "healthy fast food" and filling the last hole in the Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center's City Avenue-side expansion.

Next door in Honeygrow's building are AT&T and Corner Bakery, which opened last year, as did the Bryn Mawr Trust bank branch at a nearby standalone spot. All are next to City Avenue, whereas the rest of the shopping center is set back farther.

Honeygrow, debuting with a staff of roughly 25, will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., manager Wolf Williams told Patch. The restaurant's phone number is 610-667-2573 and it can be reached online at honeygrow.com and on Facebook. The address is 169 E. City Ave.

Williams said the focus is on stir-fry dishes, salads and other healthy fast food, made fresh while customers wait.
