Moms Eat Local: McShea's

Find out how kid-friendly McShea's in Narberth is.

Moms know how tough it can be to eat out with little ones. Patch wants to help you know before you walk in the door if McShea's is a good place to eat with your children.

Is there a kids’ menu? There are off menu kid items including chicken fingers, grilled cheese, pasta with butter or a burger.

Are there healthy options on the kids’ meal? The pasta with butter is the healthiest of the items above, but there are plenty of salads, sandwiches and grilled proteins on the regular menu that are healthier.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? Alert your server and they will be as accommodating as they can be.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? It depends on how filled the dining room is. I would say that it's quieter and more family friendly at lunch time than late at night when you get the bar crowd.
