Westminster Cemetery's proposed second mausoleum came closer to being finalized Wednesday night, as the Lower Merion Board of Commissioners' Building and Planning Committee signed off on a preliminary land development plan.
Proprietors of the Bala Cynwyd cemetery plan to build the mauseoleum next to the existing, similarly designed mausoleum, and they plan to renovate the stormwater drainage system to account for the additional impervious surface.
The proposal next goes to the full Board of Commissioners, all of whom also are members of the Building and Planning Committee.
