This January 19, West Laurel Hill welcomes back Dr. Lauren Van Scoy, author of Last Wish: Stories to Inspire a Peaceful Passing, who will be available to discuss sensitive end-of-life issues and the struggles families endure when making difficult decisions. Dr. Urvashi Vaid, an attending physician in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Dr. Robert Promisloff, pulmonary and critical care physician with Respiratory Associates, Ltd along with Alicia Bloom from VITAS Innovative Hospice Care, will join Dr. Van Scoy in the discussion.
Copies of Last Wish will be sold on our website and in the office. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the panel, to meet the panelists after the discussion, and have their books signed. Light refreshments will be served.
