Operation Smile Charity Scrapbooking Crop

It’s All About the Children

Local Close To My Heart Independent Consultant, Cindy Leek, is hosting a community scrapbooking event designed to raise awareness and funds for Operation Smile, a non-profit organization that repairs childhood facial deformities. The 2nd Annual Event will be held on October 26, 2013 at The Church of St. John, Lower Merion.

The Scrapbooking Crop will allow people to contribute to Operation Smile while discovering the art of scrapbooking, card making, and memory preservation. Attendees will learn valuable scrapbooking techniques, enjoy hours of fun, and help advance a worthy cause—all at the same time.

The event will take place all day Saturday October 26, 2013 from 9:00am to 5:00pm and attendees will be treated to workshops, product demonstrations, door prizes, create and takes and plenty of time to work on their own crafting projects. Bring your own materials and spend the day scrapbooking for a cause!  Continental Breakfast and Lunch is included in the registration fee. 

There will be a small registration fee of $30.00 to pre-register, please contact Cindy Leek at 610-306-4358 or savingmemorieswithcindy@gmail.com.  All proceeds from the registration fee along with proceeds from the raffles will be donated to Operation Smile.

In addition to the registration fee, attendees will have the opportunity to further contribute to Operation Smile through raffles; auctions and minimal fund raising make and take items.
