Consider our suggestions for weekend activites.

1. Bala Gymnastics Annual Show
When/where: 6 p.m. Friday, Bala Gymnasium, 49 Bala Avenue, Bala Cynwyd
Why go: Students age 6-12 will perform routines using traditional ropes, hoops, clubs and ribbons. For those who are simply watching all those histrionics, there's a snack bar.

2. Belmont Hills Library Flea Market
When/where: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Belmont Hills Library, 120 Mary Watersford Road, Belmont Hills
Why go: Discover a real find, or reserve a seller's table of your own for $10. Call 610-664-8427

3. The 62nd Annual Merion Scout Fair
When/where: Noon-4 p.m. Saturday, Merion War Tribute House at 625 Hazelhurst Avenue, Merion Station
Why go: Carnival games, prizes, food, silent and live auctions, hosted by Merion Scout Pack 71 and Merion Liberty Troop
Cost: Free admission, ticketed games $1

4. Narberth Music Festival
When/where: 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Haverford & North Narberth avenues
Why go: See a great lineup of bands on the outdoor stage, get some great street food at the stands and get ready to dance.
Cost: Free

5. Jewish Cookbook Presentation and Luncheon
When/where: 11:30 a.m. Monday, Main Line Reform Temple, 410 Montgomery Ave., Wynnewood
Why go: Cookbook author Jane Portnoy hosts a seasonal lunch for the spring holidays
