Montgomery County Under Overnight Flash Flood Warning

The National Weather Service issued the alert throughout the Philadelphia area.

A Flash Flood Warning for Montgomery County and other parts of southeastern Pennsylvania, suggesting an inch or two of rain could fall overnight, came Sunday night from the National Weather Service.

The 10 p.m. alert was due to last through 2 a.m., though flood alerts have been occasionally extended in the past couple weeks as Lower Merion, Narberth and the entire region have been hit with storm after storm and dozens of resulting road closures.

Other counties affected by the Flash Flood Warning includes Philadelphia, Delaware, Bucks and eastern Chester County. The NWS warned residents not to try crossing water-covered bridges.
