On Wednesday, Stay Safe in the Heat

It'll feel in the mid-90s.

National Weather Service forecast

  • There's a 50 percent chance of rain in the afternoon, but the main concern is the predicted high temperature of 92 degrees and a heat index that figures it'll feel like the mid-90s. (Temperature-wise ... no Ace of Base songs.) An NWS excessive-heat warning is in effect through 8 p.m. Keep tabs on the young, old or sick, as well as pets, and make sure everyone is keeping as cool and as hydrated as possible.
