Raise Money for Relief to Japan

We've got suggestions for weekend activities.

It's Thursday, and you have no idea what you're going to do on your weekend.

We've got some ideas. And as always, add your own in the comments section.

1. Sleepytime Yoga
When/where: 6:45-7:30 p.m. Friday, Yoga Garden, Narberth
Why go: Bring your child to this adorable yoga class in pajamas for an enjoyable class of gentle yoga movements and bedtime stories.  For children ages 3 to about 6.
Cost: $10

2. "Night at the Races" Party
When/where: 7 p.m. Saturday, Narberth Borough Hall
Why go: Ten exciting races, lots of prizes and fun. Have a horse named by you printed in the program, $15; $30 back if he wins! Food and drinks available. All proceeds benefit the BC-Narberth Lions community projects (glasses for needy children, eye and hearing screening, food, and summer camp for people with special needs, for example). 3. Second Time Wellness
When/where: 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Please Touch Museum, Fairmount Park, Philadelphia
Why go: Prepare your first-born child for siblinghood.
Cost:  $40 per person, $75 per couple. To register, call 215-581-3174.

4. Fundraiser to benefit Japan disaster relief
When/where: Noon-5 p.m. Saturday, Narberth Community Library
Why go: Calligraphy, origami, bake sale, performance of Peach Boy by Puppet Box Theater, and more.
Cost: Free, contributions accepted.

5. April Birdwalk: Wynnewood Valley Park
When/where: 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Wynnewood Valley Park, 1505 Remington Rd, Wynnewood
Why go: All level of birders welcome; binoculars and field guides are recommended.
Cost: Free
