This Week's Forecast: Spring Training

The area will get a taste of mild weather in the coming week, though heavy winds on Monday and Tuesday could spoil some of the fun.

Don't break out your flip-flops quite yet, but according to the National Weather Service, Bala Cynwyd and Narberth have unseasonably-warm weather headed their way in the run-up to President's Day Weekend.

The week of Feb. 14-20 will kick off with a high of 60 degrees on a mostly sunny Monday, but the pleasantness will be mitigated by wind gusts that could reach 44 mph by evening and an night-time low of 27 degrees. In response, the National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory affecting Bala from Feb. 14 at 12 p.m. to Feb. 15 at 1 p.m.

Tuesday temperatures will dip down to a high of 38 degrees with the occasional 33 mph wind gust, but by Wednesday the temperature will rally to a high of 52 degrees with a much gentler (13 mph) wind.

On President's Day itself, they're calling for a high of 33 degrees and showers.
