Weekend Planner: Welcome Fall at Flea Market, Movies

We have four activity ideas for your first autumn weekend.

Dinner, a Plant-walk, and a Movie
When/where: Friday, dinner starts at 5:30, plant walk at 6:30, movie at 7:30, Household of Faith Deliverance Worship Center and Linwood Park, Linwood & Athens Avenues, Ardmore
Why go: BBQ ribs, fried or BBQ chicken, beans, salad, cornbread, beverage and dessert. Learn about the plants in the park. And the movie is Megamind.
Cost: $10 for dinner


When/where: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, 117 Ardmore Ave., Ardmore
Why go: It's the PALM (Positive Aging in Lower Merion) annual flea market with recycled usable clothing, household goods and jewelry.
Cost: None


When/where: 1-4 p.m. Saturday, , 124 Sibley Ave., Ardmore
Why go: This experiential workshop blends art, music, movement, meditation, group interaction and chocolate.
Cost: $55


When/where: 1:30 p.m. Sunday, 272 S. Bryn Mawr Ave., Bryn Mawr
Why go: Walk to raise awareness for children with special needs. Moon bounce, face painting, live performances, arts and crafts.
