UFOs and Abductions at Main Line MUFON October 9

Director of the International Association for Abduction Research, David M. Jacobs, Ph.D. will clarify the issues surrounding the abduction phenomenon Tuesday, October 9 at Tredyffrin Public Library, Strafford, PA. Main Line Mutual UFO Network hosts this free monthly meeting at 6:30 pm.
Retired professor from Temple University, Dr. Jacobs has conducted over 1000 hypnotic regressions with over 150 abductees, reporting his research in three titles: The UFO Controversy in America;Secret Life: Firsthand Accounts of UFO Abductions; The Threat, and as editor of UFOs and Abductions: Challenging the Borders of Knowledge.
Dr. Jacobs has consulted to the major UFO organizations, providing the first evidence-driven hypothesis that provides a falsifiable solution to the UFO mystery.
He offers:" The majority of evidence for the alien abduction phenomenon is from human memory derived from hypnosis administered by amateurs.  It is difficult to imagine a weaker form of evidence.  But it is evidence and we have a great deal of it.  Still, readers must be skeptical of what I say and of what all others say in this tangled arena of alien abductions, hypnosis, popular culture, and memory.  Abduction researchers are mainly amateurs doing their best to get to the truth knowing that objective reality may elude them."
Main Line MUFON meets each month (mainly Tuesday evenings) at 6:30 pm at Tredyffrin Public Library, 582 Upper Gulph Road`, Strafford, PA 19087. The meeting is free and open to the public.
