Mommycon

  • Where: Sonesta Hotel, 1800 Market St., Philadelphia
  • When: Sunday, Aug. 11, 9 a.m.

What: Moms of the world, unite. Mommycon is a day-long convention for mothers and mothers-to-be to learn about the latest in natural child-rearing practices. Mt. Airy Train Station Yard Sale and Flea Market

  • Where: Mt. Airy Train Station, Devon Street and Gowen Avenue, Philadelphia
  • When: Saturday, Aug. 10, 9 a.m.

What: The Mt. Airy community is stepping out and selling its wares as part of the annual Mt. Airy Train Station Yard Sale and Flea Market. A number of local vendors are expected to be selling their gear, as well as plenty of small, local residents unloading their home goods. Check out more here.

  • When: Friday and Saturday August 9 and 10
