Home Sales Improve in April
Prudential Fox Roach tracked higher local sale prices and totals over the previous month and year.
Narberth, Bala Cynwyd and Lower Merion at large saw real estate market improvements in April, whether in sale totals, sale prices or both, according to statistics from Prudential Fox Roach.
Five houses sold in Narberth, up from two in March and two, also, in April 2011. The median sale price was $377,000.
In Bala Cynwyd, 10 homeowners sold in April, up from seven in March and also in April 2011. The median sale price of $317,500 tracked with the previous April but was significantly lower than the $384,000 of March.

Throughout Lower Merion, 53 houses sold in April, up from 44 in March and 44, too, in April 2011. The $521,000 median sale price represented a significant jump from both comparable months.
