October Real Estate Trends in Lower Merion, Narberth

Overall, Lower Merion and Narberth had 50 home sales this October, down from 70 in September but up from 43 in October 2011, according to a report from Prudential Fox & Roach.

Gladwyne and Ardmore saw year-to-year gains, selling 8 and 7 houses respectively after each neighborhood sold 3 in October 2011. Totals in other local neighborhoods changed little.

Haverford saw 34 home sales in October, down from 41 in September but up from 29 in October 2011.

Throughout the entire Main Line, 187 homes sold in October, down from 198 in September but up from 163 in October 2011.
