5 Things to Know This Week

A heads up for those who live or work in Narberth, Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills and Penn Valley.

  1. Weeks of intense road construction in Narberth, by Aqua PA, begins about 7:30 a.m. Monday on Conway and Dudley avenues, at their intersections with Windsor Avenue. Water mains also will be replaced on Price and Stuart avenues, according to Aqua PA. Check back with Patch for more details on the schedule.
  2. Wednesday night's Lower Merion Board of Commissioners meeting should feature another attempt at settlement among three parties: the Board, a developer proposing riverfront development at Righters Ferry Road and another land owner hoping to develop an adjacent parcel in the future.
  3. There will be lane closures Monday on the westbound Schuylkill Expressway between City Avenue and King of Prussia, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as bridges are cleaned, PennDOT reported.
