Lucky we weren't killed

We were almost killed in 2006 when our Buick LeSabre turned itself off on Route 1 in Lower Merion, PA. We bought our car new, and this was the second time that the low mileage car cut out. The first time was on a quiet, residential street with no traffic. We took it to Armen, a GM dealer in Ardmore, and after a discussion and meeting among the service people, they told us that it probably was a computer chip which they would replace and which we paid for. A couple of weeks later, after this "repair" the Buick cut out again. This time, we were VERY LUCKY because we were travelling on a fast-moving highway, US 1 and we were not hit. As you know, we had no warning whatsoever that the car was going to turn itself off. Again, we took the Buick to Armen, and this time, after long consultations, we were told that they had to disconnect the radio because the radio was draining the battery. Again, we paid, and drove to the Nissan dealership in Ardmore, and traded in our low mileage car. No more GM for us. And besides, GM really owes us for the nonworking and unnecessary "repairs" when GM knew all the time that it was an ignition problem and for the dollars lost because we had to trade in our car.
