Bala Cynwyd Businessman To Be Sentenced Thursday in 39 Thefts

Narberth-Bala Cynwyd Patch will cover the proceedings in Norristown.

Robert Krikorian, the Bala Cynwyd business broker who pleaded guilty to cheating 39 would-be small-business owners out of a combined $870,500, is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday afternoon in Montgomery County court in Norristown.

Narberth-Bala Cynwyd Patch will cover the 1:15 p.m. court session in front of Judge Joseph A. Smyth, the same judge who presided when Krikorian, 57, of West Conshohocken Feb. 9. Krikorian was arrested Jan. 5.

Krikorian copped to 39 counts of theft by failure to make proper disposition of funds, each one of which is a third-class felony punishable by 3 1/2 to 7 years in prison by Pennsylvania's sentencing guidelines. Smyth has discretion over the length of the sentence.
