Theft, Car Crashes Among Belmont Hills Incidents

14 neighborhood police calls were recorded in the week ending Feb. 3.

Lower Merion police responded to 14 incidents in the Belmont Hills neighborhood in the week ending Sunday, Feb. 3, according to LMPD statistics.

A list of those incidents is attached to this article, sorted by type. Incident descriptions do not necessarily indicate arrests or convictions.

Incidents included:

  • 3 alarm activations
  • 1 liqour law violation, about 9:45 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Belmont Avenue interchange of the Schuylkill Expressway
  • 2 traffic offenses
  • 2 car crashes with property damage, about 2:45 p.m. Jan. 31 and 7:15 p.m. Feb. 1, both on the 100 block of Belmont Avenue
  • 1 theft, reported about 7:20 Feb. 3 on the 100 block of Ashland Avenue
