Body Found in Bala Cynwood Warehouse

Lower Merion Police officers on Wednesday discovered a body inside an abandoned warehouse in Bala Cynwood.

Officers were called at about 10 a.m. Oct. 16 to a property at 600 Righters Ferry Road, where they found the body of a white male. Representatives of O’Neill Properties, which owns the property, said they found the body during a check of the premises. 

Police said they believe the man was homeless.

The man has been identified, but his name is not being release pending notification of his family.

An autopsy will be conducted by the Montgomery County Coroner.
