Crime Stats: 3 Burglaries, 1 Burglary Attempt in One Day
A round-up of police calls the week of Sept. 17 to 23 in the Narberth-Bala Cynwyd Patch area.
Lower Merion police responded to approximately 198 calls throughout Narberth, Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills and Penn Valley the week ending Sunday, Sept. 23, down from 231 calls the week before, department records show.

The police calls (which do not necessarily indicate arrests were made or charges filed) include:

- 3 burglaries in Bala Cynwyd, all reported on Sept. 19
- 1 burglary attempt in Penn Valley also reported on Sept. 19
- 3 fires
- 1 case of simple assault, reported at 4:49 p.m. on Sept. 21, on the 200 block of Bala Ave.
