Lower Merion police responded to 230 calls throughout Narberth, Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills and Penn Valley the week ending Sunday, Oct. 7, down from 244 calls the week before, department records show.

The police calls (which do not necessarily indicate arrests were made or charges filed) include:
- 7 animal incidents, including a deer hit at Hagys Ford and Conshohocken State roads Oct. 1
- 1 burglary, Oct. 6 on the first block of Lodges Lane
- 1 marijuana possession case
- 2 fires: one appliance fire Oct. 3 on the 1200 block of Woodbine Avenue in Penn Valley, and a fire Oct. 4 on the 100 block of Cornell Road in Bala Cynwyd
- 2 fraud cases
- 3 car crashes with injuries
- 9 car crashes with property damage
- 1 armed robbery, Oct. 1 in Narberth
- 3 simple assaults
- 4 thefts
