St. Joe's Student Arrested For DUI

 A 22-year-old St. Joseph’s student was arrested for Driving Under the Influence on March 1 around 2 a.m. According to police, the car he was driving on Montgomery Avenue near Hansell Court in Merion had a headlight out, crossed the double yellow line and was traveling at various speeds. He had a BAC of .144.

Tire Parts Stolen From Parked Car

The inner stems were removed from the tires of a car parked in a parking lot in the 100 block of Bala Avenue in Bala Cynwyd on Feb. 28. A special tool is needed to remove the stems.

On Feb. 26 it was discovered that someone had painted graffiti on eight street lamps along North Latches Lane in Merion.

Stained Glass Windows, Chandeliers Stolen From Merion Station Home

Stained glass windows valued at $20,000 and three chandeliers were reported stolen from a home in the 600 block of South Highland Avenue in Merion Station, according to police. The rear door of the home appeared forced open; the homeowner believes the theft took place between Feb. 24 and 26.
