DUI Checkpoints Scheduled for Weekend in Lower Merion

There will be added attention Friday through Sunday.

Lower Merion police will conduct roving patrols and operate road checkpoints this weekend intended to stop drunk driving, the township has announced.

The extra effort, funded in part by a PennDOT grant, will take place Friday, June 29, through Sunday, July 1.

Residents with questions about the program may call township police at 610-649-1000.
