Have You Seen this Man? Search is on for Missing Devereux Client

Man with intellectual disabilities was last seen possibly getting on a city-bound SEPTA Regional Rail Train in Berwyn.

Easttown Police are asking for the public's help to find a man who is missing after getting on an Eastbound SEPTA Regional Rail train before the beginning of Tuesday's snowstorm.

According to Easttown Poilice, Jose Dedin is a 45-year-old white male who is a client at the Devereux Campus in Easttown.  While officials say Dedin is able, and did ride public transit by himself in Venezuela this is a new transit system for him.  Police say he did not return home as expected Tuesday.  Easttown Police Chief David Obzud tells Patch that if Dedin had been on the train without the proper fare he might have been put off the train without a conductor realizing that he might need special help.

According to police Dedin is five feet, ten inches tall, weighs 113 pounds and has red hair.  According to police he is inellectually disabled "and suffers from mood disorders and seizures."

According to Easttown Police  "He was last seen possibly getting on an Eastbound train from the Berwyn Train Station around 9a.m.Tuesday.  He was possibly wearing a green jacket and jeans. Dedin is from Venezuel and communicates primarily in Spanish although he does know some English and Italian. He may be heading towards Philadelphia or be in the Lansdale area."

Anyone who sees him is being asked to call Easttown Police dispatch at 610-647-1440 or 911.
