In an effort to increase awareness on local roads, motorists in Lower Merion Township will soon see a new portable Speed Awareness Display deployed throughout the Township, the Lower Merion Police Department announced this week.

This new portable Speed Awareness Display is designed to accurately detect and display the speed of approaching vehicles. The new display can be mounted on any existing pole or speed limit sign, and raises the awareness of the actual speeds that motorists are travelling. This sign's portability allows for easy installation and removal. And its prolonged battery life allows for extended deployment at one location.
