In the Courts: Criminal Cases from Narberth, Lower Merion

We look at the past week of local criminal cases.

Montgomery County Magisterial District Courts in Bala Cynwyd, Penn Valley and Ardmore heard the following criminal cases this week, according to online court records:

  • Jamal Michael Williams, 20, of Philadelphia was charged Monday with six burglaries in Lower Merion and associated charges. He remained Friday in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing with at 1:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24.
  • Kathryn R. Debevoise, 30, of Haverford was charged Monday with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct in an Oct. 11 incident in Lower Merion. She is awaiting a preliminary hearing in front of Magisterial District Court Judge Kathleen M. Valentine in Ardmore.
  • Ione Drummond Williams, 21, of Norristown was arraigned Monday in front of on drug possession charges. Williams is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in the same court at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27.
  • Matthew McGoldrick, 50, of Bryn Mawr was arraigned Wednesday by Valentine on simple assault and harassment charges in connection with an alleged incident Tuesday. McGoldrick posted $5,000 bail Wednesday and awaits a preliminary hearing in front of Valentine at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27.
  • William Congdon, 28, of Upper Darby was charged Wednesday in connection with a retail theft in Lower Merion Tuesday. Congdon is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, with Zucker.
  • Max R. Goldstein, 22, of Bala Cynwyd was charged Friday with driving under the influence and drug possession in an alleged Sept. 10 incident. Goldstein is scheduled for a preliminary hearing with Valentine at 2 p.m. Nov. 15.
  • Troy D. Morris, 38, of Philadelphia was arraigned Friday by Valentine on charges of theft in an alleged incident Thursday in Lower Merion. He was released Friday on $2,500 bail and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing with Schireson at 9:00 a.m. Oct. 31.
  • Patricia Koning of Wynnewood, age unknown, was charged Friday with driving under the influence in connection with an alleged Sept. 29 incident. She is scheduled for a 2:15 p.m. Nov. 15 preliminary hearing with Valentine.
  • Tyree Wingate, 19, of Philadelphia was charged with driving under the influence in an alleged Sept. 30 incident. He is due in Zucker's court at 1 p.m. Dec. 7 for a preliminary hearing. Wingate is being held in county prison in lieu of $50,000 bail; county records show Wingate was charged with "corrupt organizations" in August and was assessed a probation violation.
